Palmarosa essential oil

Palmarosa essential oil is a pale yellow to yellow clear mobile liquid, derived from the stock of Cymbopogon martinii, a specie of grass in the Poaceae family of grasses, native to the Tropics. Its scent is rose-like with grassy note. The main active component(s) in a typical oil sample are Geraniol (75 – 85%), Geranyl acetate (5- 13%), Linalool (2 – 4%), Myrcene (0.5%), Nerol (1%), Limonene (0.5 – 1%), Citronellol and others.
