Our story

Who we are

Famunera is an AgriFinTech company incorporated in Kampala (Uganda), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM, United Arab Emirates) and Ede (Netherlands).

The problem

According to FAO, approximately one-third or about 1.3 billion metric tons of all food produced for human consumption is lost or wasted annually, with the economic value of this inefficiency estimated to be around $940 billion to $1 trillion (USD) per year.
